BIOGRAPHY
Open Sky is an Ottawa based rock band that features infectious rhythms and heart felt ballads. The group, now in their 9th year of playing together, consists of brothers Mike, Jared and Nathan Boucher along with their longtime friend Jon Felske.
Open Sky has played multiple venues throughout Eastern Ontario and has been the recipient of various awards including being one of three bands to receive a $25,000 development deal through Hummingbird Music and Newcap Radio station Live 88.5. With this, Open Sky recorded their debut EP that received airplay on 21 different radio stations across Canada.
Most recently Open Sky recorded two singles at Canada’s premier recording studio Metalworks in Mississauga, Ontario.
Open Sky has shared the stage with the likes of Starfield, Crash Karma, Social Code and 80's Rock legends "Honeymoon Suite" and has garnered accolades for their songwriting. In December 2007, their song "Have You Ever" was a top 10 finalist in The USA Songwriting Competition in the Lyrics Only Category.
